Why?

According to this report by PrisonPlanet.com, President Bush lied to the American People during Tuesday night’s State of the Union speach, stating that “We stopped an al Qaeda plot to fly a hijacked airplane into the tallest building on the West Coast,” a claim already proven false by pretty much everybody.
At a pivotal time for the President, when his “aproval” ratings are, at best, in the low 30s, when we are losing a war, and when he’s losing the respect of the country he is intended to lead, why throw in such a pointless lie during the most important planned speach of the year? Maybe the writer’s of the “Daily Show” also are the writers for the President’s speach, and throw in ridiculousness to keep their content hot. Probably not, but it sure as shit seems that way.
I just get that feeling that if I shake my head from side to side, really quickly, this will all go away, and in place of this wreched reverie, reality will contain sense, reason, wisdom and success. So pardon me, I have some spazzing out to do.
